What do I need in order to use online banking?

If you have an account with Fort Financial Credit Union, and you have access to the Internet, you are set up for online banking.. Your membership account number and your PIN from our PAL (Phone Answer Line) is all you need.

There is no monthly charge to use online banking.

What is my LOGON ID?

Logon ID is your Member Number; this is the same value you use to log on to online banking. During the enrollment process, a member may change this to a unique login name. The unique logon ID MUST be between 6-50 alpha numeric characters.

What is my Security Code?

This has been initialized to 'security' + the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number.

EXAMPLE: If your SSN is 123456789, then the Security Code will be security6789

How do I enroll?

Members can access online banking from the FFCU home page. The member will click the Enroll Online on the left navigation bar to get started. They would enter their Member Number, PIN or last 4 digits of SSN, SSN and their Address # only.

EXAMPLE: Member# 123456 PIN: 2345 Social Security: 789012345 Address St #: 1234

What do I do if I have a joint account and the joint person is not a member?

Only members who are primary on a membership will have access to online banking. The joint must have membership to sign on. Once enrolled, the primary will have access to all accounts he is primary and joint on.

What do I do if I have multiple memberships? Which membership do I use to sign on to online banking?

The membership number that is the smallest number will be the sign on/Log in ID for online banking..

EXAMPLE: Member has three different membership numbers 123456, 567890, 901234

If a member has more than 5 accounts, they can choose which accounts they want to see on the Overview page by going to:
SELF SERVICE > Preferences > and selecting specific accounts

Is there a time limit for a home banking session?

If you are inactive for ten minutes, your session will be timed out. NOTE: If you click another link/option while the system is in the middle of processing a previous request, the system will kick you out due to request interruption.

Scheduled Transfers

Scheduled transfers are processed on business days only. The first transfer date cannot be scheduled for a non-business day. Scheduled recurring transfers that fall on a non-business day will be processed on the preceding business day. Processing
cycle starts at 2:00 pm Eastern time. Account transfers must be scheduled before the cutoff time in order to be processed for current day.

Online Bill Pay

Is there a monthly fee for using the bill payment system?

There is no monthly fee to use or set up the bill payment system.  The bill payment system is absolutely FREE. 

What is the fee for expedited service?

Expedited electronic payments:  $5.00
Expedited overnight check:  $25.00
A convenience charge is also applied to any expedited service. This fee is $5.00.

Why am I unable to enroll in Bill Pay?

Please note, you must have the following valid information to enroll in Bill Pay:

  • First and Last Name
  • Address, City, State, and Zip
  • 10 digit Home Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • MUST HAVE a checking account

NOTE: If any of the required information is not met, the member will not be able to enroll.
